Most people use computer instead of book. According to school research,students choose computer to do their homework. Some people believe that books are more useful than computers. However, this research indicate that children and teenagers benefit from computer more than book.Computers vs. Books In the 21st century, the population nowadays is dependent on computers to do everything. In contrast, accommodating either paper or eBooks, each has their own disadvantage and advantage in reading. Each is somewhat of an advantage or disadvantage to different readers but they are both materialistic of the same thing and purpose. Similarly, both paper books and eBooks serve the purpose.Which brings me up to my next point, looking up something, I thought would be much easier on the computer. After all, I can search a word! Looking something up was never hard for me, even through piles of journals. However, looking something up on the computer was easier with digital books vs physical ones. I thought journaling would be the same.
Lastly, the use of tablets leads to computer vision syndrome, blurred vision, headache, and eye strains which are familiar to children who are fond such devices. Conversely, textbooks are eye friendly and do not cause such problems. In conclusion, the use of tablets and textbooks has pros and cons as revealed in the essay.
